STONE DETAILS

The word Apatite comes from the Greek “απατώ” (fraud) because it is often amalgamated with other minerals. Apatite is a phosphoric calcite characterized by a hexagonal  crystal system and a hardness of 5 on the Mohs scale. Apatite can be found in many countries, including Brazil, USA, India Sri Lanka, Pakistan Africa and Mexico.
