STONE DETAILS
Tiger Eye This stone takes its name from its colour and iridescence which resemble that of a cat’s eye. Tiger Eye is a silicon, which belongs to the quartz family, and has a mobile reflection. The iridescent stripe has a golden yellow colour, and the colour of the stone depends on different inclusions. It is characterized by the trigonal crystal system and the hardness of 6,5-7 on the Mohs scale. This stone can be found in different countries such as S. Africa, India, China and Burma.
Sodalite The Origin of the word Sodalite, derives from its chemical description due to the presence of sodium on its makeup . It is a calcium silicate, and is usually a dark blue colour with white patches. It crystalises in cubic form, and on the Mohs scale, measures 5-6. Sodalite may be discovered predominantly in India, Canada, and the USA.
