Apatite The word Apatite comes from the Greek “apatw” (fraud) because it is often amalgamated with other minerals. Apatite is a phosphoric calcite, characterized by the hexagonal crystal system and the hardness of 5 on the Mohs scale. Apatite can be found in many countries, including Brazil, USA, India Sri Lanka, Pakistan Africa and Mexico.

Garnet The word Garnet, originates from the Latin word “grantum” (=Pomegranate), due to the similarity of the crystals, as well as the shape of the fruit, and the color of its kernels. Garnet is a silicate mineral, belonging to the nesosillicate group, which is characterized by the cubic crystal system, and the hardness of 6.5- 7.5 on the Mohs scale. Garnet can be found almost on all continents of the world.
