Chrysocolla Chrysocolla  takes its name from the two Greek words-« χρυσό» and “ κόλλα”, because it bears a strong resemblance to the substance used to solder gold in ancient times. Chrysocolla is an aluminium silicate which is formed in the rhombic system and has a hardness of 2-4 on the Mohs scale. Chrysocolla may be found in different areas , some of which are Chile, the USA, Russia, Great Britain, Peru, Greece, and Mexico.

Crystal Quartz The name for this mineral derives from the Greek word “xalaza”, which means hail, due to the fact that in ancient times many people believed that it is solidified water. It is a silicone mineral, which crystalises in the trigonal/hexagonal system. Its hardness is measured at 7 on the Mohs scale. Crystal Quartz may be found in various countries, including Brazil, the USA, Sri Lanka, India and Madagascar.
