STONE DETAILS

The Origin of the word Sodalite, derives from its chemical composition due to the presence of sodium.  It is a feldspathoidal tectosilicate mineral and Its colour usually ranges from dark blue to light blue, that often shows white veining. It is characterised by a cubic crystal system and a hardness of 5,5-6 on the Mohs scale. This stone is found in several geographic regions around the world, including India, USA, Brazil, Russia, Russia, Portugal and Canada.
