Amethyst:
The word Amethyst has its origins in the Greek words “a” and “methw” Not Intoxicated, as in years gone by, it was believed that Amethyst protected against drunkenness. Amethyst belongs to the quartz family and it is a silicate mineral with a chemical formula SiO₂. Its color is due to the presence of iron. Amethyst is characterized by the trigonal crystal system and the hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale. Amethyst is derived mostly from Brazil and Uruguay.

Citrine Quartz:
The name “Citrine” originates from the French word “citron,” meaning lemon, due to its characteristic yellow color. Citrine is a variety of quartz (SiO₂), belonging to the tectosilicate group and is a member of the quartz family. Its yellow color is caused by the presence of trivalent iron (Fe³⁺), which replaces silicon atoms in the crystal lattice. Citrine is characterized by a trigonal crystal system and a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale. Natural citrine is found in several locations worldwide, including Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Uruguay, Madagascar, Russia, and Argentina.
