STONE DETAILS
This stone takes its name from its colour and iridescence which resemble that of a tiger’s eye. Tiger’s eye is a silicone mineral, which belongs to the tectosilicate group and quartz family with a mobile reflection. It is characterized by the trigonal crystal system and the hardness of 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale. This stone can be found in different countries such as S. Africa, India, China and Burma.
