CRYSTAL DETAILS

The name of this mineral is derived from the Latin words “aqua”, meaning water and ”marina”, meaning the sea -the color of the sea. It is a silicate mineral and belongs to the Beryl family. It is characterized by the hexagonal crystal system and the hardness of 7.5-8 on the Mohs scale.  Aquamarine can be found in various countries including Brazil, Madagascar, Sri Lanka, India, the USA, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia, Afghanistan and Tanzania.

This stone has the capability to demolish anxiety and replace it with spiritual tranquility and peacefulness.
