STONE DETAILS
The name given to this mineral is derived from the Green plant MALACHI also known as mallow, with its rich green colour. Malachite is a copper carbonate with a fibrous finish. It is characterized by its fibrous crystalisation, and on the Mohs scale, measures 4,5-5,5. Its colour denotes the presence of copper. Fibrous Malachite can be found mainly in Congo.
