STONE DETAILS
Red Tiger Eye This stone takes its name from its colour and iridescence which resemble that of a cat’s eye. Tiger Eye is a silicon, which belongs to the quartz family, and has a mobile reflection. The iridescent stripe has a red colour, and the colour of the stone depends on different inclusions. It is characterized by the trigonal crystal system and the hardness of 6,5-7 on the Mohs scale. This stone can be found in different countries such as S. Africa, India, China and Burma.
